From October 22-27, 2023, Taleh Alizadeh, an Information Technologies and Data Management Center member, traveled to the Republic of Lithuania. The purpose of this business trip was to examine the status of the electronic database on current Geographical Information Systems in Lithuania, to understand the modules utilized in their mass assessment system, and to study the application of statistical analyses conducted during mass assessment within the system. Furthermore, the trip aimed to analyze other supportive systems that ensure the smooth running of the overall process, among other related matters. During the visit, we gained insights into Lithuania's State Enterprise Centre of Registers operations. These gains also included Lithuania's experiences, methods for managing property registers and cadastres, system database for mass assessment, and database management systems.
